The official Danish orthography dictionary
NB: The 4th edition was released on the 9th November 2012.
Progresso has performed/produced the following for the National Danish Language Council’s 3rd edition:
- data processing for the printed book
- Retskrivningsordbogen on CD-ROM
with attached web pages
- Read what the press wrote about version 1.0 (3rd edition)
- A new improved version 2.0 has been released

Retskrivningsordbogen on the web, versions 1.x (not version 2)
- The web edition has very reduced functionality compared to the CD-ROM edition
The dictionary articles and the orthography rules in the Retskrivningsordbogen
have been edited only by the National Danish Language Council.
Therefore, any questions concerning Danish orthography must be addressed to the
Language Council.
