Plug-in for online dictionaries and encyclopedias
To perfom automatic lookups in dictionaries and encyclopedias
on the web, Progresso has produced a special plug-in
for Windows.
This allows the user to select a word or a text in Microsoft Word, for instance,
and subsequently look it up in an online dictionary/encyclopedia.
The plug-in works with almost any Windows program, not only Word.
Especially for Alinea’s online dictionaries, Progresso has created the Søgeassistent (i.e. Search Assistant). Anybody may freely download this plug-in, however, a subscription is required to view the results in Alinea’s dictionaries.
